Forza Horizon 5 PlayStation: Pinata Truck Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Piñata Trucks in Forza Horizon 5 are the 75 colourful smashable trucks scattered across Sierra Nueva — the daytime collectible of the Horizon Raptors rally team in the Rally Adventure DLC, the direct daylight counterpart to the Grit Reapers' nighttime crates.

Like Grit Reaper Crates, Piñata Trucks respawn — smashing all 75 once is only the beginning, since the "Smashtastic" Bronze trophy requires smashing 150 total. All their locations are marked on our FH5 Sierra Nueva interactive map.

Join the Horizon Raptors First

Piñata Trucks are only visible to players who have joined the Horizon Raptors team.

During the Rally Adventure introduction, all three teams are sampled; once the Horizon Raptors are selected (or switched to via the Rally Adventure pause menu), the trucks appear as bright, decorated piñata vehicles parked across the map.

The Horizon Raptors focus on dirt rally — Dirt Racing Events in Sierra Nueva — and smashing trucks is integrated throughout their progression challenges.

Daytime Only — But the Respawn Is Easier

Piñata Trucks only appear during daylight hours — they vanish at night when the Grit Reapers' crates take over.

Unlike the Grit Reapers' crates, which specifically require nighttime for their respawn, Piñata Trucks respawn at any time of day: pause the game, select Rally Adventure Rivals, choose any race, start it, then immediately quit.

The trucks respawn instantly regardless of the time of day. The entire farming loop can be done in continuous daylight without any waiting.

Five Horizon Raptors Challenges

Piñata Trucks feed a progressive challenge chain within the Horizon Raptors progression system:

• Pinata Smash — smash 1 Raptor Piñata Truck. Reward: Timeout horn
• Confetti Carnage — smash 15 Raptor Piñata Trucks
• Piñata Panic — smash 5 Raptor Piñata Trucks within 30 seconds. Reward: Lead Guitar horn. Requires finding a dense cluster — the Bike Track area's 5–12 truck groupings make this achievable in a single charge through the zone
• Piñata Peril — smash 100 Raptor Piñata Trucks
• "Smashtastic" (Bronze PS5 trophy) — smash 150 Raptor Piñata Trucks. Since only 73–75 exist on the map at once, reaching 150 requires at least two full sweeps with a respawn between them

Two Best Farming Clusters

• La Presa Dam road — find the dirt road running through Senda De Montanana heading northwest toward the dam. The final stretch of road leading up to the dam contains a dense line of trucks grouped closely together. This is the most consistent single cluster in Sierra Nueva.

• Bike Track area — south of the La Presa Dam cluster. Each zone in Sierra Nueva contains between 5 and 12 trucks; the Bike Track area and its surrounding roads form a second high-density sweep that pairs naturally with the dam route in a single farming run.
